Fibromyalgia is a disorder that causes widespread pain, muscle aches and weakness throughout the body that is often unable to respond to traditional pain remedies. No one knows for sure what causes fibromyalgia, and the medical community cannot agree upon whether it is a disorder or disease, while some medical professionals think it is a psychiatric disorder.
