Fever Pitch

The 2005 comedy film Fever Pitch is loosely based on Nick Hornby's novel of the same name. A die-hard Boston Red Sox fan in a budding relationship must choose between his beloved Sox, and his girl.

Jimmy Fallon plays Ben Wrightman, a school teacher and highly devoted Boston Red Sox season ticket holder. He meets the workaholic Lindsey Meeks, played by Drew Barrymore. The two hit it off and begin dating, in Winter. When Spring rolls around Lindsey discovers the Winter Ben and Spring Ben are two much different people as the Spring Ben spends most of his time with his other love, Red Sox baseball. Although Lindsay does attend Red Sox games with Ben, including Opening Day, she later finds herself as the 'other woman' in the relationship between Ben and baseball.
