Fernando Cabrera is a right-handed pitcher for the Baltimore Orioles. A native of Puerto Rico, Cabrera was originally selected by the Cleveland Indians in the 10th round of the 1999 amateur draft. Cabrera made his major league debut for the Indians on August 20, 2004, striking out 2-3 batters he faced. After seven years in the Indians organization, the Tampa Bay Rays selected Cabrera off waivers in 2007. Cabrera never pitched for the Rays, and signed a free agent contract with the Orioles in the summer of 2007.
