  • Career

    Fergie's first group Wild Orchid formed in 1991 and released two successful albums uner the RCA label. Their third album was rejected by RCA and the group disbanded as a result. In 2003, Stacy was invited by Will.i.am of The Black Eyed Peas to audition for a part in the song "Shut Up". Her vocals worked so well they added her to 5 other songs on the album. She remains a member of the group in addition to embarking on a successful solo career.
