Felix Pie is a Major League Outfielder for the Baltimore Orioles. He was born on February 8, 1985, in La Romana, Dominican Republic. He is six feet, two inches tall and weighs 185 pounds. He bats and throw left-handed. He was signed as an amateur free agent by the Chicago Cubs in 2001.
He was consisently ranked as one of the best prospects in baseball by Baseball America. His ranking peaked before the 2006 season as the 27th best prospect in all of baseball, before falling to #49 in 2007.
Pie had a solid minor league career, finishing with a .299 batting average and 62 home runs 317 RBI over 632 games. He played at every level of the Chicago Cubs minor league system, and played with the AAA Iowa Cubs from 2006-2008.
He made his major league debut for the Chicago Cubs on April 17, 2007. In 2007, Pie played in 87 games for the Cubs, starting in 36. In 2007, he hit .215 with 2 home runs and 20 RBI over 194 plate appearances.
In 2008, he played in 43 games for the Chicago Cubs, starting in 35. He hit .241 with 1 home run and 10 RBI over 93 plate appearances.

Felix Pie 2009 Season
In 2009, his first season with the Baltimore Orioles, and in the American League, he played in 101 games. He divided his time between left and center field and finished the 2009 season with a .266 batting average, 9 home runs and 29 RBI.
He set career-highs in every major category, including batting average, runs scored, home runs and RBI. He hit for the cycle on August 14, 2009, and it was only the 4th time a member of the Orioles had done so.
In 2010, he is playing the best baseball of his major league career through the early part of the season. Through the Orioles' first 8 games, of which Pie has played in 6, he has hit .438 with 1 home run and 1 RBI over 17 plate appearances.
Felix Pie played well during the Orioles' 2010 Spring Training, hitting .355 with a .667 slugging percentage and won the left field position.
