Felipe Massa is a Formula One racing driver for the Scuderia Ferrari team.
On July 25th 2009, Massa was seriously injured during qualifying for the Grand Prix of Hungary when a spring weighing about 800 grams flew off of the Brawn GP car of Rubens Barrichello and struck Massa's helmet.<ref>http://formulaone.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/07/25/strange-qualifying-in-budapest/
Massa was replaced by Ferrari Test Driver Luca Badoer for two races, but former Force India F1 driver Giancarlo Fisichella was announced as Massa's replacement until the end of the 2009 season, starting at his home race in Monza, Itally.
Originally, Massa's seat was to be filled by former world champion Michael Schumacher, but Schumacher changed his mind due to problems with a previous neck injury.http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/13082009/58/video-schumacher-explains-u-turn.html

Career Highlights
