On the Federal Business Opportunities website, buyers or vendors, usually government representatives, can upload new opportunities as well as edit and later award these opportunities. Members of the general public can also access these listing, though through a different portal on the website. On the day that the stimulus bill was signed, the first business opportunity was listed on FedBizOpp.com. That opportunity was for a small business construction project for the U.S. Navy, $400 million to be split between five small businesses.
