A Fear of Balloons is an intense phobia of balloons. Some people fear only the popping of balloons. Others have a fear of deflated balloons. Still others are afraid of balloons when they are inflated. Like many phobias, this fear rarely has any rational basis. It could be caused by an event during childhood.

I have a severe fear of heights. That's why you'll never see me carrying more than 7 balloons. I don't want to take any chances.
