1953's Fear and Desire was legendary film director Stanley Kubrick's directorial debut. Starring future film director Paul Mazursky, the film tells the adventure of four soldiers who have crashed behind enemy lines. Kubrick wrote, directed, produced and edited this homegrown feature, though in later years, he did his best to prevent screenings of the feature.
