About FEAR 2 Project Origin
FEAR 2 takes place immediately after the first FEAR, in fact beginning 30 minutes before the ending of the original. The story puts players in the role of a different soldier than in the first game, though the series' main antagonist, the psychic girl Alma, returns again. In FEAR, the government imprisoned Alma to experiment on her body, but her consciousness remained autonomous, allowing her to wreck havoc on the world through her mind. In FEAR 2 Alma has escaped and is on the loose, leading to what Monolith has called a more "intimate" relationship between the player and Alma. -
