Officially the most successful soccer club in German history, FC Bayern have won won 21 German league titles and 14 german cups as well five European honors (European Cup three times, Champions League and the Eufa Cup).http://lincsfm.co.uk/internal.php?idt=922&id=1587 FC Bayern Munich have always been Munich based, moving into the Allianz Arena at the start of the 2005-2006 season. This stadium was built for the 2006 Soccer World Cup, which is also shared with another soccer club, 1860 Munich. FC Bayern Munich have played in the Bundesliga since 1965 when they received promotion.

FC Bayern Munich was founded in 1900 when players left the Munich gymnastics club to form the new club. The club's most famous player is Franz Beckenbauer. who is a worldwide icon of the game of soccer, Beckenbauer is the life president of FC Bayern Munich.
