• Multiple-award winning actress Faye Dunaway starred in a series of critically acclaimed films in the 1960s and 1970s, when she was one of Hollywood's leading ladies. Her performance beside Warren Beatty in 1967's Bonnie and Clyde helped usher in a new era of popular filmmaking and film performing.

Actress Hilary Duff is slated to play Dunaway's role in the upcoming Bonnie and Clyde remake. Dunaway reportedly criticized Duff in late January 2009 saying, "Couldn’t they at least cast a real actress?" Duff responded to Dunaway's comments saying, "I think that my fans that are going to go see the movie don’t even know who she is, so you know…. I think it was a little unnecessary but I might be mad if I looked like that now too."Just Jared: Hilary Duff Slams Faye (February 3, 2009)

A member of the American National Theater and Academy during the 1960s, Dunaway appeared on stage and Broadway before moving on to film in 1967. Bonnie and Clyde earned her an Oscar nomination for her portrayal of Bonnie Parker.

She continued her streak of successful films with Chinatown and Network, for which she won an Oscar for Best Actress in 1977.

Though most of her accolades have come for films in the 1970s, Dunaway won Golden Globe Awards for performances in the '80s and '90s, most recently for Gia. She received an Emmy for a featured role in an episode of Columbo in 1994.
