  • Career

    Faust are considered one of the pioneering bands of the Krautrock genre. Their original lineup consisted of Hans Joachim Irmler, Jean Herve Peron, Werner "Zappi" Diermaier, Rudolf Sosna, Gunther Wusthoff and Armulf Meifert. They released their debut album, Faust , 1971. The album gained them a loyal following but failed commercially. They have since released over 30 albums.
