Fatal Inertia EX is a futuristic hover racing game set in the 22nd century. Due to larger corporations control over the media, business, and information, extreme sports has become the only outlet for people to experience joy and excitement not processed through 'The System'. Although it was previously released on the Xbox 360 under the title Fatal Inertia, the PS3 version suffered from significant delays due to the fact that the developers were having problems with the Unreal Engine on the Sony console. It is distributed exclusively as a digital download on the PlayStation Network.
Fatal Inertia EX Information
The game centers around extremely fast and dangerous courses and hover crafts. There are a total of 51 courses and six different racing environments. The PS3 version includes eight new tracks on a new training venue called Fatal Inertia Proving Grounds Facility. The game also has another difficulty setting and adjusted gameplay. There are four main car classes each with their own advantages and disadvantages. These crafts can also equip non-lethal weapons like magnets.
