Fatal Frame

' Fatal Frame is a survival horror video game game developed and published by Tecmo for Sony's Playstation 2 and Microsoft's Xbox video game consoles. The game's story deals with a Mafuyu and Miko Hinasaki, a brother and sister who wander into a mysterious abandoned mansion somewhere in Japan. Mafuyu goes to the mansion and does not return, prompting his sister Miku to go after him. Playing as Miku, the player must unravel the mystery of the grisly events that led to the disappearance of her brother in order to learn his fate and escape from the mansion with her life.

One of the most innovative features of Fatal Frame is the weapon used throughout the game. Though the game still technically qualifies as a shooter, the main character does not shoot bullets or lasers at her opponents, but instead takes pictures of them with a magical camera called the Camera Obscura. The camera contains special magical parts that give it the power to exorcise ghosts by taking photographs of them.
