Fatal Attraction is a 1987 thriller movie directed by Adrian Lyne, and starring Michael Douglas and Glenn Close. It is the story of a married man whose extramarital affair turns deadly when his lover begins stalking him and his family. The film was nominated for six Academy Awards, including Best Picture.

Plot Synopsis
Fatal Attraction is the tale of a married lawyer, Daniel Gallagher, played by Michael Douglas, who has an affair with a business associate named Alex Forrest, played by Glenn Close. When Daniel attempts to end the affair, Alex becomes unstable and begins to stalk her former lover and his family. Daniel goes to the police to file a complaint against Alex, but finds them unsympathetic due to his cheating ways. Soon after, Alex's stalking devolves into threats, kidnapping, and eventually attacks on the family until a showdown must take place between Daniel's wife, Beth (Anne Archer), and Alex. -
