  • Latino Rapper Fat Joe (hailing from the South Bronx area of New York City) is a successful solo artist and member of the group Terror Squad.
  • Career

Fat Joe began his career as member of the band Diggin in the Crates and released his first solo album, Represent, in 1993. He saw some commercial success with the single Flow Joe and released his second album in 1995, which also sold reasonably well. In 1998, he released Don Cartagena, which sold more copies than his first two albums and made Fat Joe more of a mainstream artist. While focusing on his group, the Terror Squad, Joe did not release another album until 2001's Jealous Ones Still Envy and had become a mainstay on both MTV and BET. The next few albums featured many crossover appearances from Murder Inc artists which eventually led to a feud with 50 Cent in 2005. The feud is still going today, mostly recently in the form of a mix tape, hosted by Fat Joe released in April 2008.
