What to Look For
You don't need to be model-thin to wear skinny jeans, just smart about what you pair them with. Wear them like you would leggings: with a dress, tunic or long shirt. If your problem area is your calves, wear boots. However, if your thighs are your problem area, you'll probably want to stick with a wider-leg jean to balance out your body proportions.
If your hips are your problem area, keep in mind the length of your shirt or tunic. You don't want the bottom of whatever top your wearing to stop at your hips, this accentuates them and emphasizes how wide they are. Try a tunic that stops mid-thigh.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WOf_u40mqCI
