Actress Farrah Fawcett battled anal cancer since 2006. Fawcett underwent chemotherapy treatment after her diagnosis and was believed to be in remission in 2007. The cancer however came back and has since spread to her liver. On the morning of Thursday, June 25, 2009, Barbara Walters reported that Fawcett had received her last rites by a priest and may only have hours to live.
