FarmVille is a real time farm simulation game available as an application on the social networking website Facebook.http://www.facebook.com/FarmVille The game allows members of Facebook to manage a virtual farm by planting, growing and harvesting virtual crops, trees, and livestock. Since its launch in June 2009, FarmVille has become the most popular game application on Facebook with 56.1 million active users in October 2009.

There are many available cheats and hacks for the FarmVille application, most of these cheats and hacks come from downloading a program called FarmVille Cheat Engine 5.4, there are previous versions and newer versions set for release as well. This program is to assist the user in leveling up, gaining more coins and XP points.

A Cheat Engine is a memory scanner/hex editor/debugger created by Dark Byte who is also known as Eric Heijnen. The engine was created specifically for the Windows operating system. Cheat engine is commonly used by those who have the intention of cheating in computer games and gaining an unfair advantage. The cheat engine searches for specific values that a user has put in and displays an array of information stored in a memory database in which the user can sift through. The most commonly used cheat engine is for FarmVille, however there are cheats engines available for other applications as well, including Design FarmVille and Café World. One thing to be aware of is that majority of game developers do NOT support these cheat engines, and at anytime if they find users using them while playing their games, the user is at risk for being banned.

Crops grow and ripen at various times. There is no way to stop the crops from growing while you are away from your computer.

Tip -Plant crops, which take longer to grow when you head to bed or away form your computer for extended periods.

Using this tip saves time, since the player won't have to spend time getting rid of rotted crops.

Clear a section in your field of plots, you need to create a nice section of land, which only grass on it.

Clear nine spots in a formation. Now ‘walk’ your person in the middle of this section.

Go to the market, purchase the cheapest fences, and set the fences around the person. After you have set four fences down you will need to turn two of them. You can click on the fence when it is placed and turn it sideways. This effectively blocks in the person and now you can plow and plant much quicker.

This fence trick is super handy if you have a large amount of area to plow or plant. Currently this is the only cheat I have found which works.

If you use other items to block in your person, he or she will walk around the perimeter and proceed to plant or plow.
