The Farm Aid 2009 benefit concert will be held in Saint Louis, Missouri, on October 4th at 2 p.m. EST.
The purpose of Farm Aid is to help farmers. The first Farm Aid concert was arranged by Willy Nelson, John Mellencamp and Neil Young in 1985. Dave Matthews became involved in 2001. By 2009, the concerts had raised almost $35 million.
