When playing with actual dice (not online), it is a fast paced dice game for all ages. It can be played with any number of players and with one person keeping score. The usual game lasts until the first person reaches the required amount of points that they have designated for the game. The rules for Farkle Dice Game are simple.http://www.smartboxdesign.com/farklerules.html
Someone rolls the six dice and pulls the highest point dice out. Only the five and the one have points assigned to them. After those points, one goes for a straight or any one of the point scoring combination dice. Once the roll has been completed, the scorekeeper will write down the points as the players continue the round. Next, the remaining dice will be re-rolled. Each player must decide at the end of each roll if they want to chance rolling the remaining dice or bank the points that they have already received. Rolling the dice and not getting any scoring dice will result in a Farkle. If someone rolls a Farkle, they will lose all of their points from that round. When someone Farkles or banks their score, the round will be over and the round score will be written down.http://www.smartboxdesign.com/farklerules.html
The person to the original player's left rolls the dice next. Play continues with each player rolling the six dice making as many points as they can each round. The object of the game is to be the first to reach the agreed upon point total.http://www.smartboxdesign.mobi/farklerules.htm
