Fargo Marathon

The Fargo Marathon is an annual marathon that takes place in Fargo, North Dakota on May 17th. The number of participants in the race have significantly increased ever since its inception in 2005. The marathon is sponsored by Scheels All Sports.
Fargo Youth Run

In addition to the race marathon for adults, there is also a marathon for kids. Kids 12 and under can participate in either a half mile or 1.2 mile run. This competition is not focused on how fast the kids run or whether they finish at a good speed or not. It is focused on the physical health of children and helping them make wise choices in physical fitness. This event takes place on the same day as the Fargo Marathon.
