A Family Intervention is used to help a family member or friend that is engaged with self-destructive behavior. With the assistance of a trained professional the individual is confronted, in a loving and nonjudgmental way, with the concerns and expectations of those involved. Treatment options, already in place, are offered to the loved one to start them on the road to recovery.
