The Family Guy animated television show was supposed to team up with Microsoft to promote its latest operating system, Windows 7. The Family Guy Windows 7 special was scheduled to air on November 8, 2009 at 8:30 PM (ET/PT) on Fox. The working title for the Window 7 special was to be called Family Guy Presents: Seth & Alex's Almost Live Comedy Show. However, on October 27, 2009 Microsoft announced that it was pulling out of the Family Guy special. The decision was made after Microsoft executives watched a live taping of the animated show before a studio audience.
