Family Guy: Time Warped is an action video game available for the Apple iPad and iPhone that was released on November 30, 2010. Family Guy: Time Warped is also structured so that actual clips from the television show are played at crucial moments during the story to further the plot. While playing make-believe in the attic, Stewie comes across his adoption papers, which indicate that Lois had almost given him away years earlier. Deciding he's be better off without her, Stewie rebuilds his time machine to travel into the past and convince Lois to put him up for adoption.

Unfortunately, through a series of mishaps, Stewie becomes lost in time and brings Brian along for the ride. Now, the two of them must overcome history's greatest obstacles and villains in order to find a way home and set the past right again.

Plutonium

Throughout each level there will be green plutonium canisters that must be collected to sustain health. If a player is struck by an enemy or takes any damage, then a small percentage of the canisters will be expelled. Expelled canisters will disappear if not re-collected in time. When the number of canisters in the counter reaches zero, then the player is vulnerable to be killed for good.

Weapons

As play progresses, you will be offered extraneous weapons such as shotguns or laser blasters. These weapons will momentarily replace your primary weapon and are good for a only a limited number of shots unless the weapon is collected again to refill the ammo.

Checkpoints

Checkpoints are indicated by small purple televisions floating around specific areas of each level.

Suits

When you collect enough plutonium, Stewie and Bryan will change into different costumes that will enable them with a bonus jumping ability. If you drop below a certain number of plutonium, the costume will disappear along with the jumping ability.

Video Clips

Extraneous objects floating about the level, such a blow up dolls, leather jackets and lingerie, will unlock video clips from the Family Guy TV show. These clips, if collected, can be viewed after completing the level.

Ipecac

Bottles of ipecac will become available in the later levels and can be tossed at enemies to disable them. The ipecac will cause the enemy to begin vomiting violently for an extended period of time, allowing the player to walk by without harm. The other option after using this weapon, is jump onto the back of the hunched over enemy and use it as a spring board to reach the more elevated areas of a level.

Hints and Tips

1. The more canisters you collect the harder it will be for enemies to kill you.
2. When gliding with Brian, look for yellow signs as an indicator of where to land next.
3. To avoid taking damage from enemies, look for objects to stand on nearby so that you can strike with your weapon while staying out of reach.
   

Movement

• Jump: Jump Button

• Move Left: Press the left arrow.

• Move Right: Press the right arrow.

• Use Weapon: Weapon Button

• Uppercut: Uppercut Button

Stewie

• When Stewie is wearing his time suit he can perform a double jump. To double jump, tap the jump button while jumping.

Brian

• When Brian is wearing his tweed jacket, he can perform a glide while jumping. To glide, tap and hold the jump button while jumping.
  

1. Move right, picking up the plutonium as you go.
2. As you pass by the front door of the house, collect 15 plutonium to activate the time suit.
3. Collect the leather jacket as you approach the trash can.
4. Strike the trash can to pick up more plutonium.
5. Jump over the barricade and the orange cone to reach the stone ledges.
6. Jump across all the ledges to collect the plutonium, then jump onto the rightmost ledge and drop to the ground below.
7. Double jump onto the orange cone, jump onto the dumpster and collect the trophy.
8. Drop to the ground below and continue picking up plutonium to the right.
9. Jump onto the dumpster and move right, then use your weapon on the thugs while standing close to the edge of the dumpster.
10. After the thugs are defeated, drop down off the dumpster and continue right, then jump onto the orange cone to activate the checkpoint.
11. Jump across the gap to the next orange cone and continue right, then jump onto the scaffolding.
12. Jump across the scaffolding above and to the right until there are none left, then jump down over the edge to land on the ground below.
13. Jump up onto the scaffolding ahead and pick up the shot gun, then use it on the thug ahead.
14. Continue right and jump onto the orange cone, then use your shot gun on the thug ahead.
15. Jump up the ledges above to collect the uranium until you reach the roof, then move left to collect the book.
16. Move right and jump off the roof to land in front of the pharmacy, then use your shotgun on the thug ahead and break open the trash can.
17. Continue right and jump over the barricade to complete the level.
