False Fox Ad

FOX News Channel ran a print ad in newspapers on Friday, September 18, 2009, claiming that they were the only major news outlet to cover the March on Washington "Tea Party" on September 12, 2009. The advertisement read, "How did, ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, and CNN miss this story?" The media outlets did in fact cover the story and issued statements defending themselves against false claim by Fox.

In retaliation to the false ad, CNN ran a commercial titled "Fox News: Distorting, Not Reporting."http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/09/19/cnn-ad-hits-back-at-fox-n_n_292158.html
