About Fallout 3
In 2077, an atomic war devastated the United States. A lucky few survivors found refuge in fallout shelters scattered throughout the region. They have remained inside for years while, outside, the remnants of the human race have formed tentative governments in a world crawling with genetically mutated creatures.
The player takes on the role of an inhabitant of Vault 101, whose father has inexplicably left the safety of the vault and ventured into the wasteland outside. Of course, the player must try to find him.
