This page contains a full text and video walkthrough of Fallout 3 The Pitt, the second downloadable expansion pack for the successful first-person shooter, Fallout 3. The expansion will be available only for the Xbox 360 and PC versions of the game.
Start of the walkthrough and video production was delayed due to widespread bugs throughout the expansion, e.g., giant floating exclamation marks, glitchy graphics, missing textures, and complete game freezes. After confirming that the English Xbox 360 version of the expansion had somehow become corrupted, Bethesda removed the file from Xbox Live.GameSpot: Fallout 3: The Pitt pulled off XBL, update due Wed. (March 24, 2009) A new version was released on March 25, 2009.1up.com: Fallout 3's 'The Pitt' DLC Repaired, Back on Xbox Live (March 25, 2009)
About The Pitt
Operation Anchorage, the first expansion for Fallout 3, was released on January 27, 2009. It was set in a battle simulator that recreated the battles in Anchorage, Alaska, during "The War." The Pitt allows players to visit the post-apocalyptic remains of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Unlike Operation Anchorage, it is not a simulation and takes place in the real world.A desperate radio message from escaped slave Wernher marks the beginning of the expansion. Wernher believes that The Pitt's leader has found a cure for mutations and he needs help retrieving it. The player will be able to make a number of moral choices, according to his play style, and will ultimately decide whether to help the slaves or their Raider masters.
-
Introduction to The Pitt
- The Pitt is the second of the Fallout 3 DLC add-ons, with the first being Operation Anchorage.
- Like Operation Anchorage, The Pitt actually takes you outside of the Capital Wasteland and eventually strips you of all of the weapons and items you obtained throughout the main game.
- Once you have paid for and downloaded The Pitt, boot up Fallout 3 and wander around until a notice pops up telling you of a distress call being broadcast across the Capital Wasteland.
- Press ok on the notice and a new Quest will be added to your log. Select it as your active quest and you're ready to tackle The Pitt.
-
-
Part 1 - The Way to the Pitt
- YouTube: The Way to the Pitt - Pt 1 (Time: 5:00) | Pt 2 | Pt 3
- Once you have selected "Into the Pitt" as your main quest, a marker will show up on your map that points you all the way to the northern part of the wasteland.
- Fast travel over to the closest location to the marker that you have discovered (it will likely be Oasis or Paradise Falls) and then start making your way towards it. You'll know you're close when you see a couple of satellites that make up the location Satcom Array NN-03d.
- Once you reach the marker you'll spot three Pitt Raiders ganging up on a man named Wernher. Kill the Raiders, loot their bodies, and then speak with Wernher
- Wernher will tell you that he's an escaped slave from a region known as The Pitt. He was being chased due to his knowledge of a cure for the sickness that has been plaguing the people of The Pitt.
- You can lead the conversation anyway you want, but you'll have to eventually agree to help him. He'll then tell you that you should first look into obtaining a slave disguise, which just so happens to be conveniently located a little bit to the west of your location.
- Proceed towards your new marker to the left until you reach a train station that a group of Slavers are using as a hideout.
- Talk to Ramsey, the Slaver who is banging on the fence, and you'll be given the choice of using a speech challenge to convince him you're a slave trader from The Pitt looking to buy his slaves, or that you're simply here to kill him. Note that killing the Slavers here won't result in a karma loss.
- Whichever way you decide to approach the situation, once the gates are opened talk to the slave named Prosper. He'll thank you for freeing him, no matter how you decided to do so.
- Ask Prosper for some slave clothes and he'll either give you the ones right off his back, or tell you to salvage the ones from the slave who died last night.
- Once you've got your slave threads, follow your marker which will lead you to Wernher. He will tell you that you're all ready to go and that you should meet him at the tunnel.
- Before you follow your marker northwest to reach the tunnel, make sure that you're all ready to go. Once you enter the tunnel and leave for The Pitt, you won't be able to come back until everything is over.
- When you're ready, head inside the door and confirm that you're good to go.
-
Part 2 - Welcome to the Pitt
- YouTube: Welcome to the Pitt - Pt 1 (Time: 4:20) | Pt 2
- Once you arrive, Wernher will tell you to hang on as he goes to talk to the incoming Raider. Follow him but have a finger on the trigger ready to fire once their conversation goes sour.
- Once the firefight begins, equip a long range weapon and take out the raiders shooting from above to the north and to the southwest. Let Wernher work on the enemies on the ground level.
- After the area is clear, two more raiders will charge in from the north. Once you take them out, check on Wernher and then follow the path towards the gates to the northeast.
- Unfortunately you'll have to wait for Wernher to slowly walk towards the gate so he can unlock it. Once he does, he'll tell you that this is as far as he can take you.
- While he's briefing you on what you should be doing, be sure to ask him "You sure I can't sneak a weapon in?" He'll give you the choice of using either a concealed pistol or a concealed knife. Choose whatever suits your playstyle better and note that once you're inside the downtown area of The Pitt, all of your weapons with exception of the one you choose here will be confiscated.
- After you finish talking with Wernher, proceed forward. To your right is a bunch of rubble, rusted cars, and broken trains, but there are also three packs of RadAway at the southern corner. If you're low on RadAway, it might be a good idea to pick some up since The Pitt is a fairly irradiated area.
- Continue heading up the road and you'll eventually come to a bridge. If you want, before heading on the bridge you can explore the area to the west where you'll find a small hideout of Wildboys. There's not much here, but you can at least kill the enemies and use their bed for a health refill.
- Whatever you decide to do, you eventually want to start crossing the bridge. Be especially careful though as the bridge is lined with frag mines. Either shoot them from a distance or disarm them once you get close.
- A Molerat and two dogs will be waiting for you inside the overturned truck so be on the look out.
- As you near the end of the bridge, keep an eye out for a Pitt Raider up above who will be looking to snipe you. If you have a Sniper Rifle, take him out. Otherwise, try to ignore him and just keep heading forward.
- Once you're on the other side of the bridge, you'll spot some slaves trying to escape and getting blown up by mines. Thank them for clearing some mines up for you as you continue down the street and make a right once you reach the stop sign.
- Continue to the gates and wait for them to open them up for you. Once they're open, proceed forward and you'll be stopped by a man named Mex.
- You'll be given three choices of how you want to enter The Pitt, but they'll all essentially end the same way. Whether you enter as a slave, as someone who's looking to join the Slavers, or as someone who just killed all three doormen, you'll be stripped of all your weapons and will complete the quest once you enter the Downtown area.
-
Part 1 - Finding Midea
- YouTube: Unsafe Working Conditions - Pt 1 Finding Midea (Time: 5:05)
- If you chose to enter Downtown by pretending to be a slaver or through force, you'll be stopped upon entry and beaten unconscious. When you awaken, a woman named Midea will be right in front of you but will say that you need to speak in private.
- If you chose to enter Downtown by pretending to be a slave, Midea will be waiting for you in an alleyway to the northeast.
- Either way you'll have to follow Midea back to her quarters which is located in the northeastern part of downtown.
- Before you enter Midea's place, you can explore Downtown if you wish and get a basic lay of the land. On the east side is Midea's Quarters, the assembly area, a locked door leading to Uptown (which you can't use yet) and the town "cook" named Kai who will give you slop should you ask for it. On the west side is the entrance to the Mill, but you'll be going there soon enough so talk to Midea first.
- Follow your quest marker over to Midea's Quarters and head on inside.
- Midea will tell you the plan to get you into Ashur's palace, which basically involves making you blend in for a while so that you become more accepted as a slave. She'll assign you the job of collecting Steel Ingots from the Steelyard and will tell you that you should try to equip yourself with a weapon from a man named Marco.
- Your conversation will be interupted when a Slave Master named Jackson barges in to demand what's going on. Once Midea straightens things out with him, you'll be free to head towards The Mill. You can also continue talking to Midea to get some more background on the plight of the people in The Pitt.
- Follow the marker on your compass over to The Mill. On the way you may run into a slave named Milly. Talk to her and she'll ask you to find a man named Wild Bill. Tell her that you'll help bring him back, continue heading towards The Mill and enter the door once you arrive.
-
Part 2 - Finding the Auto-Axe
- YouTube: Unsafe Working Conditions - Pt 2 Finding the Auto-Axe (Time: 4:02)
- Proceed straight ahead but be on the look out for a man named Brand that is either sitting down or is standing next to a computer terminal on the left side.
- If you succeed in a speech challenge with Brand, he'll give you the opportunity to rat out Midea, Wernher, and their plan to free the slaves in exchange for two stimpacks per piece of information. Obviously, you'll receive some bad karma for your actions as well.
- Once you're done with Brand, turn to the right and head north until you reach the end and then make a right. Go up the stairs and head into the control room to find Marco.
- Talk to Marco and work the conversation until you're able to ask him for a weapon. He'll give you the Auto-Axe, which is a unique weapon only found here in The Pitt.
- TIP: The Auto-Axe works a little bit different compared to regular melee weapons. If you're using it outside of V.A.T.S, you'll need to hold down RT and run the axe into an enemy while the blades are spinning. It doesn't use any ammo, but you should keep watch on it's condition.
- Now that you have your Auto-Axe, you're ready to head into the Steelyard and find some Ingots. Retrace your steps and head south until you spot a small stairway on the right side. Head on up and talk to Everett who will open the door and lead you to your destination.
- Follow Everett through the next door that leads to the Abandonned Area.
- You'll get your first view of the Trogs that you'll be fighting in the Steelyard here, but it will be docile so don't mess with it. Continue along the path and head through the door that leads to the Steelyard.
-
Part 3 - Finding 10 Steel Ingots
- YouTube: Unsafe Working Conditions - Pt 3 Finding 10 Steel Ingots (Time: 6:05)
- TIP: The Steelyard is absolutely massive and is literally crawling with trogs that are very fast and like to sneak up on you. Keep a close eye on your radar and make good use of V.A.T.S as a locating tool so you can spot trogs that are otherwise well hidden. You can also sneak around if you have the patience since that will let you know when an enemy has spotted you.
- Right when you enter the Steelyard there will be two Steel Ingots in front of you next to the dead slave (2). Make sure to loot his corpse and around his corpse for his Assault Rifle and ammo.
- Head down the ramp and proceed west. Go up the ramp, on to the truck, and jump on to the couch at the end. Turn to your left and try to jump into the dumpster where you'll find two more ingots (4)
- Jump to the next dumpster and you'll find two more (6).
- Now jump down and head around the third dumpster to find a smaller one with a slave hanging out. Inside will be three ingots (9).
- Go up the nearby staircase and into the shack to the southwest. Inside you'll find a couple of first aid kits, some Radaway and two more ingots (11) to complete your objective.
- You're free to explore the Steelyard further and try to find all 100 Steel Ingots, but if you want you can just head back to the entrance now and continue with the main quest.
- NOTE: Collecting the 10 Steel Ingots will grant you the perk "Auto Expert", which will increase the damage you do with the Auto-Axe by 25%.
- NOTE: Locations of the remaining 90 Steel Ingots will be added to this walkthrough after the main walkthrough is completed.
- Once you reach the Abandonned Area again, this time there will be a hostile trog so be ready for it.
- Return to The Mill and you'll be met by Everett again. He'll give you a Laborer's Outfit for finding the 10 Ingots.
- Now backtrack all the way to Milly's Quarters. Along the way you'll probably spot Milly again. Talk to her and tell her the news of Wild Bill (If you don't know the news you can use a speech challenge to lie to her). She'll give you six stimpacks for your troubles.
- Once you're back at Midea's, talk to her and she'll tell you about part two of her plan which involves entering you into The Arena.
- When the conversation ends, head back outside and proceed into the crowd to listen to Ashur's speech.
-
Part 4 - The Arena
- YouTube: Unsafe Working Conditions - Pt 4 The Arena (Time: 5:40) | Pt 5
- Once Ashur finishes his speech, follow the marker back to The Mill and then follow it to the arena gates. The gate is located just across from where you met Brand.
- After talking to Spook who waits by the door, head on down to find a woman named Faydra.
- Tell Faydra that you want to fight in the arena and she'll make arrangements to set you up. Before you head inside, check the nearby locker for some ammo and a couple of melee weapons, should you want to use them for some reason.
- Once you're ready, head through the arena door and get ready for your first match, which is against three slave warriors.
- The challenge of these arena battles isn't the difficulty of your enemies, but rather the fact that you'll be eating about 7 points of radiation per second while fighting. If you managed to find some Rad-X, now would be a great time to use it.
- Once you kill the three slaves, quickly loot their weapons and ammo and then head back to the waiting room. Faydra will heal your radiation level and you'll be good to go for the next round.
- The next round has you fighting against the Bear Brothers. Both of these enemies need to be at close range in order to hit you, with one wielding a Deathclaw Gauntlet and the other holding a Flamer. As long as you're able to put some distance between them, you should be able to take them down without taking too much damage.
- Once again, loot their bodies, taking their weapons and especially their armor since it's likely better than what you've got on right now.
- Talk to Faydra again so she can get rid of your radiation level and then return to the arena for one more round.
- Your final fight in the arena will be against a man named Gruber who uses another weapon exclusive to The Pitt, the Infitrator, which is a fully automatic Sniper Rifle.
- Gruber's got a lot of HP, but he should go down fairly easily to your Chinese Assault Rifle that you picked up from the first arena battle. Once he's dead, be sure to loot his corpse so you can claim the Infiltrator and his armor.
- By beating the Arena, you'll gain the Pitt Fighter Perk which will increase your damage and radiation resistance.
- Head back to the waiting room to complete this quest.
-
Meeting Ashur
- YouTube: Free Labor - Pt 1 Meeting Ashur (Time: 4:47) | Pt 2
- When you emerge victorious from the arena, you'll be met by a man named Krenshaw who will tell you that Ashur is waiting to meet with you.
- Before you head out, you'll be happy to know that along with your freedom that you gained by defeating the arena champion, you've also been given all of your stuff back! Open the footlocker and reclaim all of your weapons and items.
- Now head back to the main floor of The Mill and follow the marker on your compass to reach the door leading to Uptown. It is just past the control room where you obtained your Auto-Axe.
- Once you arrive in Uptown, head forward a few steps and then turn right to run up the ramp.
- You can explore Uptown and talk to the residents if you wish, but if you want to head straight for Ashur's place, continue up the ramp, make a right at the split, continue heading up until you reach the roof, walk across to the north end of the roof and take the series of stairs and ramps all the way down. Walk straight ahead and you'll reach a large building known as Haven.
- Once inside, head up the stairs and use the elevator along the east wall.
- After emerging from the elevator, continue straight ahead and you'll find Ashur talking with Krenshaw about the potential slave uprising. He says he'll be with you in a moment.
- TIP: While Ashur's busy with Krenshaw, head through the doorway to the left to find a hallway leading to Ashur's room. If you have at least 50 points in lockpicking, you can open his safe which contains four diaries that tell you what kind of person Ashur really is along with 2 Mentats and 2 Stealth Boys. Note that you'll lose some karma by breaking into his private safe though.
- Once Ashur finishes with Krenshaw, he'll turn his attention to you and will ask what you are doing in his city. Asking him the first two choices will essentially lead you down the same path while answering the bottom one will obviously cause everyone inside Haven to immediately turn hostile towards you. I'd recommend one of the first two.
- His next question will be whether or not you know Wernher. You can stall for time by asking Ashur to tell a little about himself, but eventually the topic will be brought back up. Answer however you wish, as the result will be the same no matter what.
- Eventually the questioning will come down to whether or not you'd be willing to put an end to Wernher in exchange for becoming a Lieutenant in Ashur's army. Again, it doesn't really matter what you choose here.
- Your conversation will be brought to end either by coming to an agreement or by Ashur being interrupted by the intercom telling him that the slaves have begun their revolt. Once it finishes, head into the doorway to the north and follow the hallway into the lab.
- Talk to Sandra, Ashur's wife. You'll learn that the cure that Wernher wanted you to steal was actually Ashur's own daughter.
- Decision making time! If you want to side with Wernher and the slaves, kidnap Marie and fight your way out of Haven.
- If you want to side with Ashur, leave Haven without taking Marie.
-
Siding With Wernher
- YouTube: Free Labor - Side With Wernher 1 (Time: 5:46) | Pt 2 | Pt 3 | Pt 4 | Pt 5
- If you decide to side with Wernher it'll be like playing a game of Capture the Flag. Take Marie and then get ready to fight your way out of Haven. You'll have to deal with Sandra, several Raiders and the turret in the room you were talking with Ashur in.
- Once you make it outside, not surprisingly, all of the raiders in Uptown will be looking to kill you. Thankfully you have at least some help in the form of slaves with Auto-Axes. Only take out the enemies that pose an immediate threat to you as you make your way to the marker on your compass. It will lead you to a door that will bring you back to Downtown.
- Head down the winding staircase until you're back on the ground floor. Raiders will be shooting at you from nearly every direction so make a break for Midea's house.
- Talk to Midea and she'll tell you to bring the baby to Wernher, who is hiding out in the Steelyard. Chances are that after you finish talking, Raiders will actually follow you into the house, so be ready.
- Once you're done talking, head out and start fighting your way towards the Steelyard. Thankfully once you're inside the Mill, you'll have plenty of friendly slaves who will serve as fine distractions as you head towards the Abandonned Area.
- To get to Wernher's hideout, follow the same path that you took when you were searching for the Steel Ingots. Head up the ramp, on to the truck, up the stairs and through the gate to the left. Once you're through the gate though, make a right through the broken fence and head southwest.
- Climb the stairs and you'll reach a small Wildman shack. Kill any enemies around and then follow the marker on your compass to a door leading to Wernher's hideout.
- Once you give Marie to Wernher he'll tell you about the final step of his plan. He needs you to shut off the lights so that the Trogs will overrun Uptown and kill Ashur and all of the Raiders.
- Head back outside and start making your way to the north end of the Steeyard. Follow the train tracks all the way down until you find a manhole that will take you down to the Pitt Underground.
- The Underground is a pretty straightforward area that is littered with Trogs in nearly every room. Equip a shotgun or some other weapon that is meant for close to mid range combat as you cut a path to the terminal that you can activate in order to turn off the lights in up town.
- Once you've activated the terminal, follow the marker to arrive at a door that will take you to Uptown, which would seem like the last place you would want to be right now.
- This is where things get really tricky. Ashur will be nearby waiting to get his vengeance on you for killing his wife and betraying his expectations of you. Kill him and you can take his unique Power Armor for yourself if you have the inventory space.
- TIP: If you don't care about Ashur's armor, turn on a Stealth Boy instead and try to sneak your way towards the marker on your compass that leads to Downtown. Attacking Ashur will give away your position and will make your travel back extremely tough since you'll have to deal with both raiders and the massive amounts of Trogs that are about to invade.
- Equip a Flamer and start making your trek back to Downtown. It'll be a very dangerous trip as there will literally be about 50 Trogs all traveling in packs trying to rip you to shreds. The Flamer works great here though due to its ability to hit multiple trogs in a line all at once without any worry of splash damage hurting you.
- Once you reach Downtown, head down the winding stairs and talk to Wernher who will thank you for all that you've done. As a reward he will give you access to the Ammo Press in the Mill and a perk that will increase your radiation resistance by 10%. You can also visit Midea, who has been granted custody of Marie, and give her toys for Marie.
- Quest Completed

Siding With Ashur
- YouTube: Free Labor - Side With Ashur 1 (Time: 4:48) | Pt 2 | Pt 3
- Ignore Marie and leave Haven by yourself. Your new objective is to make it back to Midea's Quarters to ask her to give up Wernher's location.
- Due to the fact that you've decided to side with Ashur, you've now made an enemy out of the rebellious slaves. Fortunately for you, all that they are armed with are Auto-Axes and aren't very well armored, making this much easier than having to fight the Raiders.
- Once you're back in Downtown, head down the winding staircase and enter Midea's Quarters.
- Talk to Midea and try to succeed in a speech challenge to get her to reveal Wernher's whereabouts. If you fail, you can just take the note off of Midea's desk.
- Wernher is located in a shack below the blast furnace in the Steelyard, so make that your next destination.
- Once you reach the Steelyard, follow the same initial path that you took when you were searching for the Steel Ingots to find Wernher's Hideout.
Talk to Wernher and either convince him to leave with a speech challenge, or just kill him and loot his body.
- Once Wernher is dead, all that's left is to return to Ashur at Haven, report him the news, and you'll be done with the quest.
- As a reward he will give you access to the Ammo Press in the Mill and a perk that will increase your radiation resistance by 10%. You can also visit Sandra and give her toys for Marie.

100 Steel Ingots
- YouTube: 100 Ingot Guide (Time: 38:02)
- Right when you enter the Steelyard there will be two Steel Ingots in front of you next to the dead slave (2)
Inside you'll find a couple of first aid kits, some Radaway, and two more ingots (11)
- Leave the shack and then make a left. Head straight until you see an opening on the left side where you'll find two more ingots between a few barrels (13)
- Now turn around and head through the gate to the right. Make another right to reach a large area with lots of pipes and turbines. Head southwest until you reach some stairs. Take the stairs up and collect the two ingots next to the flaming barrel and the dead slave named Wild Bill (15).
- Continue up the stairs and follow the path to reach a Wildman shack. Kill the two Wildmen inside and claim the two ingots next to the refrigerator (17)
- Turn to face east and head across the bridge all the way until you move under a large pipe. Once you pass the overhead pipe, jump on to the pipe to your right and follow it eastwards all the way to the end where there will be a Trog guarding two more ingots (19)
- Head back to the bridge and continue following it onto the rooftop to the north. Once you're on the rooftop, make a left and follow the path until you reach stairs that take you to another rooftop. Make a left at the top of the stairs and then make a right and another right. At the northwest corner of this area is a Trog guarding a couple of stimpacks and 4 ingots (23)
- Head back to the stairs that you passed just before and take them all the way to the top of the huge structure. Once you reach the top you'll find a mass of 12 ingots all together (35)
- Take the stairs down a level and then move to the eastern railing. Hop over the railing to land on a sloping platform and take it all the way down. Exit to the left to reach a platform with 7 more ingots (42)
- Jump down to the roof below and then jump down to the ground that is between the two buildings with the large tower in the middle. There will be some trogs down here so be on the look out as you locate the two ingots next to the base of the tower. (44)
- Return to the rooftop and make your way to the the large bridge leading northwest. Head across it and pick up the two ingots along the way (46)
- Once you reach the next rooftop, follow it around until you spot a platform to the left with two more ingots (48).
- Hop down to the ground and turn to face eastwards. There will be a shelf with another two ingots (50)
- Turn around and start heading northwest down an alley until you come to the first turn to your left. Follow this alley down and you'll come to a battle between a couple of Wildmen and Trogs. Clean up the remainders of the battle and then check the mine cart for four more ingots (54)
- Now head east and follow this building around to come to a dead end with a dead slave, a combat shotgun, and two more ingots. (56)
- Turn around and head back to where you found shelf with the two ingots. Keep going south until you see a staircase on the left. Behind the staircase you will find a bunch of tires and two ingots in the corner (58).
- Climb the stairs to get on to the rooftop and follow it around until you're at the eastern edge. Look down at the fence below and jump while aiming to land on the side of the fence closest to the train tracks. If you look at the top of the trains below, you'll find that the yellow one in the middle has two ingots. Jump onto the girder and walk across it until you're able to drop down on to the train and pick up the ingots. (60)
- Turn to face east and hop on to the next line of trains. There will be another dumpster that you can jump into that contains another 3 ingots (63)
- Jump down to the train tracks and proceed all the way to the end going east. On the right half of the tracks will be two ingots next to a dead body (65)
- Now head all the way back to where the three dumpsters were that you checked at the start of this area. Climb the nearby stairs, head through the gate to the left, and keep heading south as you follow the building on the left around until you see some more stairs. Climb the stairs so that you're on the rooftops and take a few steps in the southwest direction. Once you reach the edge of the roof, try to jump into the dumpster to find 2 more ingots (67)
- Jump onto the barbed wire fence and head south so that you can land on the other side of the fence. Turn to the right and walk straight ahead all the way to the end to find a dead slave and two more ingots (69)
- Hop back to the other side of the barbed wire fence and this time head east all the way down the slope into radiated territory. At the very end of the slope will be a dead raider with some decent armor who lies next to three ingots (72)
- Now turn to face north and head into the area with all of the radioactive barrels. In the middle of this area are three ingots that are all bunched together. Be careful of all of the nearby Trogs. (75)
- It's a long trip, but now you need to head all the way back to where the staircase was that lead to the top of the huge structure where you found the 12 ingots. Once you're there, instead of going up the stairs, head south as far as you can go. Now turn to the left and look down. You're going to have to try and jump to the roof below, but aim for the little gray thing so that you don't take a lot of damage and wind up crippling yourself. You might want to save before you jump just in case. Once you're on the rooftop, jump down another level so that you're on the same platform that the silos are on. Head east as far as you can go and then make a right to find a dead slave, an auto axe and 4 more ingots (79).
- You've officially collected all of the ingots to be found here in the steelyard. Now it's time to clean up the Supply Plant. Head down to the train tracks and walk along the wall on the east side until you see a door leading to the Supply Plant.
- Head forward into the second room with the turret to find three ingots bunched together (82)
- Continue making your way through the supply plant and you'll eventually come to an area with a terminal that will let you release a friendly protectron, and two doors that go down different paths. Take the right doorway first and follow it all the way down to reach an overturned minecart where there will be eight ingots. (90)
- Head back to the area with the two doorways and this time take the one on the left. Be on the lookout for a locked door on the right side with an average lock. Unfortunately there is no way around this, you have to have 50 points in lockpicking in order to open this door. Once you're inside you'll find a bunch of goodies including a total of six ingots. (96)
- Exit the room and continue along the path leading upstairs to find a room with a bed. Next to the bed is a desk and on top of the desk is a single ingot (97).
- Almost finished! If you haven't already, return to Everett and give him all of the ingots you currently have. Now return to the Abandoned Area and look for a piece of fence that has been removed. Head through and check the minecarts for the final three ingots (100).
