About The Pitt
The Pitt, the second downloadable add-on for Fallout 3, takes place in the city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The city, which was not directly impacted by the events of the original game, has fallen apart on its own, with its residents losing all sense of normal society and many of them now reduced to working in slave labor camps.
The plot of The Pitt puts the player in search of the man responsible for the camps in order to obtain a cure for an illness plaguing the vast majority of the city's residents.
Unlike the style of the first downloadable story, Operation Anchorage, the gameplay of The Pitt focuses much less on combat and more on branching storylines and relationships created within the plot itself.The Pitt Hands-On (February 19, 2009)
