    In Fallout 3 the Pip-Boy 3000 displays a large amount of information and has a number of utilities. A few of these are:

    CND: The condition of each of your character's body parts. Each part has its own life bar, which can be refilled with Stimpacks using the Pip-Boy 3000.

    EFF: Displays negative or positive effects on your character, like radiation damage.

    S.P.E.C.I.A.L.: Displays your character's seven main attributes and any negative effects on them.

    Radio: You can use the Pip-Boy 3000 to pick up radio signals in your vicinity. Radio stations can only be listened to when you are in range of their signals.
