About Operation Anchorage
Operation Anchorage has a different graphic style from the rest of the game. Rather than the browns and grays of the Wasteland, Anchorage takes place in the frozen wastes of Alaska.
The expansion is really a simulation for which the player battles to liberate Anchorage from the invading Chinese Red Army. This famous battle occurred around the year 2076, during the war that resulted in the creation of the Wasteland. Players entering the simulation are stripped completely of the resources they accumulated throughout the main game. They will have to collect new weapons and armor, and use basic skills to succeed.IGN: Fallout 3: Operation Anchorage Unveiled - Page 1 (Perks info) (December 10, 2008)
