Easter eggs, as in the two previous games in the series, make an appearance in Fallout 3. The Easter eggs in this game include references to The Elder Scrolls III and IV, which were also developed by Bethesda Softworks, as well as an homage to another post-apocalyptic blockbuster, Mad Max. - Leather Jacket - Homage to Max's jacket
- Mr. Burke - William Burke is a serial killer from the 1820's

- Bobbleheads - Collectible from the Fallout 3 collector's edition
