Fallout 3 Character Customization

    • Three character customization systems: SPECIAL, Skills and Perks
    • SPECIAL are your character's base stats: Strength, Perception, Endurance, Charisma, Intelligence, Agility and Luck
    • Skills are your character's specialties in weaponry, human interaction, medical knowledge and more
    • Perks are specific bonuses, like stronger limbs or faster healing
    • SPECIAL and Skills are chosen at the game's outset, and can be revised only once - after the player leaves Vault 101 for the first time
    • New Perks are earned with every level
    • Max level is 20
  • There are a number of character customization systems in Fallout 3. SPECIAL determines your base statistics, while Skills and Perks determine your affinity with weapons, and Perks add specific bonuses to attributes and skills.
  • Character Customization Details

    • SPECIAL: Your character's strength, perception, endurance, charisma, intelligence, agility and luck. Determines your physical power, ability to take damage, sway over non-player characters and more.

    • Perks: Notable Perks include Gunslinger, which increases your pistol accuracy when using VATS, Lady Killer/Black Widow, which increases damage done against the opposite sex, and Life Giver, which grants you an additional 30 hit points.
