Fair Game
Former undercover CIA agent Valerie Plame-Wilson published a memoir called Fair Game: My Life as a Spy, My Betrayal by the White House in October 2007. Plame-Wilson was a successful undercover CIA agent until 2005 when her identity was revealed to reporters by Karl Rove, Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage and other members of the U.S. government. Former vice president Dick Cheney's chief-of-staff, "Scooter" Libby was convicted of lying to a federal grand jury about his involvement in compromising Plame-Wilson's identity. Plame-Wilson and her husband, ambassador Joseph Wilson, allege that the government compromised Plame's identity as retaliation to Wilson's op-ed pieces accusing the Bush administration of manipulating intelligence.Variety: Sean Penn in talks...
