Fahrenheit 2 is another video game title that appears on the so called leaked E3 2010 list published by a Russian website. Along with other major video game titles such as Mass Effect 3 and Gears of War 3, as well as unknown games: Battletoads and Ninja Solid, Fahrenheit 2 is a subject of discussion on various video games forums. The opinions regarding the authenticity of this list are divided, based on the information and the games it contains and also based on the publishers of each game. For example, Mass Effect 3 appears under Sony’s name, but the every game of this franchise was developed exclusively for Xbox 360, therefore for Microsoft.http://en.wikinoticia.com/Technology/games/43404-filtered-a-fake-e3-list
Regarding Fahrenheit 2, based on the information on the list, the title should be a sequel to Fahrenheit a horror adventure video game developed by Quantic Dream and published by Atari on September 20, 2005. The designer of this video game is David Cage the same person who worked on Heavy Rain, and the founder and CEO of Quantic Dream. In 2009 at GamesCom, Cage made an interesting remark that puts the information about Fahrenheit 2, from the Russian list, under the question mark:
…I didn’t want to do a Fahrenheit 2, because I got the feeling I said what I had to say on the story and the characters. And with Heavy Rain, it’s pretty much the same. I feel the same way.http://www.videogamesblogger.com/2009/08/26/heavy-rain-2-and-fahrenheit-2-looking-unlikely-according-to-quantic-dream.htm
Cage also provided some information about a future project called Heavy Rain 2:http://www.vg247.com/2009/08/19/exclusive-vg247-talks-demos-sequels-price-cuts-and-more-with-heavy-rains-david-cage/
I’m not sure there will be a Heavy Rain 2. I’m not a guy who does sequels, because, when you work on a story, you have something to say. It’s a response to a moment of your life and what you want to express.”
