Facial cleansers are used to clean the face of makeup, oil, and dirt. A wide-variety of types are available, including those for sensitive skin, acne, oily skin, dry skin or combination skin. It is best to find a facial cleanser that meets your skin type to ensure your skin does not become inflamed due to excessive oil or drying. In addition to normal facial cleansers, there are cleansers made for special circumstances including facial scrubs to remove dead skin cells and black heads.

Facial cleansers should not be applied to the eyes. If it does make contact with the eyes, flush eyes with clear running water. Refer to the instructions on the specific type of cleanser you are using for further instructions.
