  • The Graveyard Path Quest

    1. Go north through Bowerstone Jail.
    2. Proceed northwest through the Gibbet Woods to Headsman's Hill.
    3. Loot the chest near the edge where Thunder pulled you off. You will find a Flame Augmentation.
    4. Continue north into the Lychfield Graveyard.
    5. Go down the path. Speak to the Demon Door.
    6. Continue on down the path. Speak to the Gravekeeper.
    7. Listen to the Gravekeeper speaking to his friend.
    8. Go inside and speak to the Gravekeeper. He will open the graveyard gates for you.
    9. Go to Nostro's crypt. The way will be plagued with undead. Stay and fight as long as you want. They will keep popping up.
    10. Speak to Nostro's corpse. He will ask you to retrieve his belongings.
    11. Fish in the water for a Silver Key.
    12. Search for Nostro's Armor, Helmet, Sword and Shield. They are marked with green dots on your map.
    13. Tip: Hack down the thorns near Nostro's tomb to reveal a chest. Inside is a Fishing Rod.
    14. Look for Nostro's Armor in a crypt just down the hill from his.
    15. Fish Nostro's Shield out of the water near where you found his Armor.
    16. Dig Nostro's Sword out of a grave near the west end of the graveyard. The grave has a green glow over it.
    17. Find Nostro's Helmet in the Gravekeeper's house.
    18. Loot the chest outside the Gravekeeper's house for a spade if you don't already have one.]
    19. Tip: Many of the graves can be looted with the spade.
    20. Return Nostro's belongings to him. He will get the Demon Door to open for you.
    21. Proceed through the Demon Door to the Old Graveyard Path.
    22. Tip: Undead will continuously spawn here for a long period of time. This is the perfect place to grind out some Experience. You can also get a huge Combat Multiplier here with the use of Physical Shield. Use any Ages Potions, Fish, Red Meat and Carrots you have.
    23. Continue down the path when you are done.
    24. Kill the large undead at the end of the path to open the doors.
    25. Tip: Loot the chest near the stairway for a Silver Augmentation.
    26. Go through into the Circle of the Dead. Step into the green circle on the ground.
    27. Defeat the undead that appear. There will be many of them. Use Slow Time and Physical Shield to stay safe. Some will appear faded. Hit the ones that appear more solid. Kill enough of them and the seal will break.
    28. Quest completed. This activates the Rescue Scarlet Robe quest.
    29. Loot the graveyard. There is a Silver Chest containing a Piercing Augmentation. There is also a chest with a Resurrection Phial behind the west wall.
    30. Note: This will be your last chance to complete many Optional Quests. Do them now.
    31. Tip: Collect your rent now.

  • Bounty Hunt Optional Quest

    1. Collect the quest at the Guild.
    2. Go to the Greatwood Entrance.
    3. Fight your way to Fisher Creek. Rescue the first hostage from the Bandits.
    4. Kill the Bandit Leader in Greatwood Entrance. Continue on to Greatwood Lake.
    5. Kill the Bandits that attack you in Greatwood Lake.
    6. Look up the hill. You will see a Bandit holding a woman hostage. Shoot the bandit in the head with your bow.
    7. Kill the last few Bandits that ambush you. This earns you Treasure Clue 1.
    8. Quest completed.

  • Darkwood Disturbance Optional Quest

    1. Go to Darkwood Lake via Barrow Fields.
    2. Speak to Briar Rose.
    3. Kill the Minions close to the shrine. There are around eight of them. They only attack you in small groups.
    4. Follow Briar Rose to the shrine.
    5. Defend Briar Rose while she works. More Minions will be appearing. Hold them off using ranged attacks. Lightning also works well.
    6. Note: The red meter that appears indicates how much time you have left before Briar Rose completes the incantation. The green meter is her health.
    7. Tip: Cast Heal Life on Briar Rose if she gets hurt.
    8. Quest completed.

  • Execution Tree Optional Quest

    1. Travel to Bowerstone North.
    2. Go through into Bowerstone Jail.
    3. Escort the prisoner up to Headsman's Hill. You will be hounded by Bandits all the way up.
    4. Kill all the Bandits quickly to prevent them from rescuing their boss.
    5. Tip: Don't get too far ahead. Bandits may ambush the guards.
    6. Tip: Use Heal Life on the guards to help them survive.
    7. Start again if the prisoner escapes.
    8. Watch as the Bandit scum is executed.
    9. Quest Completed.

  • Execution Tree Rescue Optional Quest

    1. Follow the Bandits up the hill.
    2. Kill any Guards you come across.
    3. Fight your way to the Bandit Boss.
    4. Rescue the Boss. Escort him to safety.
    5. Quest complete.

  • Rescue Scarlet Rose Quest

    1. Go through the crypt at the far end of the Circle of the Dead.
    2. Proceed through the Underground Chamber.
    3. Take the north tunnel for some barrels and a chest with a Resurrection Phial.
    4. Continue east to exit the tunnel.
    5. Note: This is another area with perpetually-spawning undead. You can fight them as long as you wish. You can also run straight through them.
    6. Make your way through the Cliffside Path. There are lots of undead here. There is also some good loot to be had.
    7. Defeat all the undead in the room at the end of the path. This opens the doors.
    8. Proceed east through the underground passage. The north passage has two guards and a Resurrection Phial. Skip it at your discretion.
    9. Loot the larder at the end of the tunnel. You will find a Dark leather Chest and an Obsidian Katana.
    10. Head into the Torture Chamber.
    11. Use the lever next to the door.
    12. Go back the way you came.
    13. Quest completed. This begins the Prison Escape quest.

  • Prison Escape Quest

    1. Race the other prisoners. They guards direct you where to go. You need to get on top of the wall. Win the race to get to the Warden's office.
    2. Sneak around to the other side of the bookshelves. There is a glowing paper on the wall with a code.
    3. Go to the other corner of the room. There will be a table with three books. Choose one. You only get one chance to grab the key. Invariably the first book you choose is the wrong one. Don't worry. You'll get another chance next year.
    4. Note: The two timers indicate the time you have and the Warden's awareness. If you move too quickly you will alert the Warden. This causes you to start over.
    5. Race again.
    6. Read the code on the Warden's wall again. It's in the same place.
    7. Choose a book. Invariably, whichever book you choose this year is the right one.
    8. Unlock your cell. Unlock all the other cells.
    9. Run to the western end of the courtyard. Go up the stairs. Look for the door to your right. Go inside.
    10. Open all the chests in the Guard's Quarters. You will receive all the parts of a Guard's Uniform and your belongings. Put on your armor and weapons.
    11. Return to the Courtyard.
    12. Run to the west end to find the Torture Chamber.
    13. Release your mother again.
    14. Exit back into the Underground Passage.
    15. Work your way through. Several guards will try stop you. They only attack one or two at a time.
    16. Run through the Cliffside Path. The undead are still here. Run straight through to the Underground Tunnel.
    17. Escape to the Underground Chamber. Rest before you continue.
    18. Fight the Kraken. It has four tentacles that must be eliminated before it shows itself. Lock onto the nearest tentacle. Wait for it to swing. Dive out of the way when it swings down. Hit it while it's down. Attack the Kraken's head when it appears. Slow Time will give you a huge window to do this. Avoid it's breath attack. Destroy it's tentacles again when they resurface. Cast Slow Time again and hit the Kraken until it dies.
    19. Exit to the south.
    20. Quest completed. This starts the Gateway to Hook Coast quest.

  • Gateway to Hook Coast Quest

    1. Go to the Ancient Cullis Gate in Darkwood via the Barrow Fields Cullis Gate.
    2. Kill undead until the gate opens. There will be a bunch of them around. Take them down one at a time. Hit them with Lightning if they bunch up.
    3. Go through the Cullis Gate once it opens.
    4. Head to the ruined abbey in the northwest corner of Hook Coast.
    5. Note: One of Twinblade's assassins can be found near the well at the northeast corner. Defeat him.
    6. Return to the Guild.
    7. Go to Maze's quarters.
    8. Look to your left. You will see a book on a small table. Pick it up.
    9. Quest completed.
    10. Go to the map room. Speak to the Guild Master.
    11. Choose to accept the quest or postpone it. Accept it if you have no silver quests. Postpone it if you still have silver quests to do.
    12. Note: This is your LAST CHANCE to do some quests.

  • Return to Hook Coast Quest

    1. Return to Hook coast.
    2. Approach the ruined abbey in the northwest corner again. You will be attacked by Screamers along the way. Defeat them with bow shots or magic. Try to keep them at a distance. They can hurt you even if you have Physical Shield cast.
    3. Tip: Try and eliminate Screamers before they have a chance to scream.
    4. Defeat Maze. Try and keep him at a distance. Only melee him if you have to. He uses Physical Shield and a variety of magical attacks. He also has a long range attack. Keep moving and pick him apart little by little. Bows work well on him.
    5. Chase Maze across Hook Coast. You will need to follow him to the lighthouse to get him.
    6. Tip: There is a 20-key Silver Chest in the lighthouse. It contains The Murren Greataxe.
    7. Kill any Screamers Maze summons.
    8. Quest completed.
    9. Return to the Guild.

  • Try to Stop Jack of Blades Quest

    1. Step into the Cullis Gate.
    2. Follow the path to the yellow dot. This is the first Focus Site.
    3. Cast Physical Shield. Run straight to the Focus Site. Ignore all enemies. They continually spawn. Allies are also spawning in to deal with Jack's minions.
    4. Follow the map makers to the second Focus Site. It is at Greatwood Lake. Again, ignore all enemies. Run straight for the Focus Site.
    5. Run through the tunnels of the Hobbe Cave. Run all the way to the bottom (where you rescued the Grandson.)
    6. Run to the top of Gibbet Hill.
    7. Quest completed. This starts the Battle Jack of Blades quest.

  • Battle Jack of Blade Quest

    1. Go through the library to the Chamber of Fate.
    2. Pass through the Guild Caves on your way to the Chamber of Fate.
    3. Tip: There is an Oak Longbow leaning against the wall. Grab it if you need it.
    4. Enter the Chamber of Fate.
    5. Kill the Minions first. Attack Jack once they are down. He is terribly fast. Lock onto him and hit him with spells or melee attacks. He moves too fast to be hit with a bow.
    6. Tip: Slow Time helps.
    7. Dodge his ranged attacks. This can be tricky if you are in melee range.
    8. Get behind one of the rocks he spawns.
    9. Take shots at him with your bow when he is not attacking.
    10. Use the rocks for cover when he does his ranged attack. He also has a crackling lightning attack. The rocks will shield you from that as well.
    11. Ignore the Minions when they come out the second time. Concentrate on Jack.
    12. Make the choice. You have the option to keep the sword and kill your sister. This earns a lot of Evil Points, but you get the sword. You can also cast it into the void for Good Points.
    13. Note: There is a quest you can do after this that will earn a sword of equal power. You needn't kill your sister thinking you need to in order to get the best sword in the game.
    14. Quest completed. This begins The Prophets of the Fire Heart quest.
