Story
Taking place five decades after the events of Fable 2, Fable 3 takes the player into the world of Albion as it races through the industrial age under the rule of a tyrant king, Logan. The Hero must face Logan, who happens to be the brother of the main character, and become the new ruler of Albion. After ascending the throne, the player must act as he or she sees fit to rule the kingdom, and protect it from invasion.http://lionhead.com/Fable/FableIII/Default.aspx#top
Gameplay
In Fable 3, the player advances as a character by completing quests and defeating enemies. Three main areas improve as you quest: strength, stature, and your magical aura. Along with the campaign story line, there are a series of side missions that can be completed for additional guild seals and good or bad fame.
The Fable 3 Side Mission Walkthrough page includes the many additional missions, as well guides for collecting silver and gold keys, and how to open the Demon Doors throughout Albion.
Similar to the first two games in the series, Fable 3 allows the player to utilize melee, range, and magical attacks to take down enemies. Anything from simple melee strikes to complex combinations of all three can be used to defeat the Hero's foes. The Hero gains access to four 'Hero Weapons' early in the game. This weapon system is different from its' predecessors, as these 'Hero Weapons' adapt and evolve based on the players combat style.http://xbox360.gamespy.com/xbox-360/fable-iii/
Following in the steps of Fable 2, the Hero's faithful companion dog is there to help fight alongside the player in this grand adventure. However, in Fable 3, the canine companion adapts to the player's morality and combat style. There are many chests, silver keys, gold keys, and dig spots that you can find throughout the world of Albion, and many of these can be found by following your dog when he barks at you (an icon will also appear about his head indicating a dig spot or treasure).http://xbox360.gamespy.com/xbox-360/fable-iii/

Introduction (Prince)
After selecting your character and view the introduction cut-scene, you are awakened by your butler, Jasper. Walk over the the two sets of clothes, and choose your outfit. You are now tasked with meeting Elise. Go out the door to the left of where you put on the clothing, and follow the glitter trail down the stairs. Continue through the courtyard, and down another small flight of stairs towards Elise. Approach her, and another cut-scene begins in which you will be able to interact.
After the cut-scene, follow the glitter trail back towards the castle. Go up the stairs and into the kitchen. Choose one of the two speech options, and then follow Walter upstairs. Continue following him until you reach a group of citizens that have a petition. Make the decision to sign the petition or insult it, and follow Walter to the combat room. Walk towards the swords and pick one up. Fight Walter, and use a flourish move to activate the next cut-scene.
Follow Elise and Walter and watch the next cut-scene. Follow Elise to the war-room. Make the decision on who gets executed, and after the cut-scene, follow Walter and Jasper. Enter the catacombs, and retrieve the guild seal.
Listen to Theresa, and proceed through the gate in front of you. Claim the fireball spell from the chest. Exit through the portal back to Jasper and Walter. Cast a fireball, and enter the passageway that opens in front of you. Follow the path until it splits, and go left to collect your first Silver Key. Go back along the right path and follow the glitter trail, defeating any bats you encounter along the way. Once you reach the cullis gate, cast a spell and you will arrive at the Sanctuary. Approach the map, and select the Dweller Camp.

Dweller Camp
Follow Walter to the gate, and accept the money he gives you. Follow the glitter trail to purchase the new clothes and return to the Sanctuary and change into the Dweller Clothes. Return to the camp, and go meet Walter and Sabine.
Follow Walter to the draw bridge, and continue on to Mistpeak Valley. Continue along the path until you encounter a pack of wolves which you must defeat. Keep following the glitter trail towards Brightwall, fighting the packs of wolves along the way.
Upon reaching Brightwall Village, continue along the glitter trail towards the librarian. Enter Brightwall Academy and approach the librarian and present the guild seal. Follow the librarian towards the Reliquary, and open the door using the guild seal.
Continue into the heart of the Reliquary until you reach a blue flip-switch. Return to the Sanctuary to talk to Jasper and receive a melee weapon. Teleport back to The Reliquary and strike the flip-switch with your weapon.
Cross the bridge and defeat the group of Hollow Men. Continue along the path until you reach a red flip-switch. Cast your spell at it and a staircase will appear. Activate the next piece of the pathway by stepping on the blue arrow in the direction you wish to go. Continue to do this until you reach the end, where another staircase will appear. As you proceed, Hollowmen appear at the platforms that have glowing lanterns above them. Follow along the path, vaulting down to the next level when you reach the ledge, and then diving into the water below. Swim to the stairs and shoot a fireball at the door while standing on the circle shown on the floor.
Proceed along the path ahead, and fight the Hollowmen that spawn as you do. Once you reach the yellow flip-switch, return to the Sanctuary to talk to Jasper, and receive your ranged weapon. Teleport back, shoot the switch, and kill the Hollowmen that rush towards you. Keep going along the path until it turns into a ramp, and as you reach each platform, an increasingly large number of Hollowmen will spawn. Fight them, and proceed to the top of the tower to discover the Hero item left to you is none other than the Music Box from Fable 2!
Collect the Music Box, and enter the portal to meet with Theresa again. After opening the box, proceed towards the portal or spend guild seals on upgrades. Upon returning to the library, exit back into Brightwall Village and follow the trail to meet with Walter. Here he will provide you with clothes to enter the mercenary camp, but you must acquire the tattoo and beard to match the role. You'll need to earn some money, and the easiest way to do so is take the 'Lute Hero' job in Brightwall Village. Repeat this until you have earned enough money, and follow the trail to the tattoo and facial hair store. Purchase the items, and equip them in the Sanctuary dressing room. It is now time to meet Captain Saker.
Make your way through Brightwall Valley towards the mercenary camp. The first few guards will fall for your disguise, but eventually you'll be discovered. Fight your way through until you reach an enclosed ring. You must fight Saker and his minions. He is immune to fire, so you will have to defeat him using melee and ranged weapons. After defeating him, you have the choice to slay him, or let him live.
Fast travel to Brightwall Village and talk to Walter in the pub. You now have just one task left to gain the trust of Sabine. You need to gain the support of the people of Brightwall, and to do so you must do several side missions to gain guild seals.
Once you have gained enough support, you will have completed the three tasks that Sabine has asked of you. Watch the cinematic and promise to re-open the Academy in Brightwall. Return to the Dweller Camp and watch another cinematic, where you will make another promise, this time to the people at the camp. You now have gained the Dweller Camp residents as followers.

Mistpeak Monorail
After leaving Dweller Camp, head through Mistpeak Valley to the Mistpeak Monorail Station, where you are supposed to meet Walter. He is sitting on a bench on the top level. Watch the cinematic and follow Walter. Wait for him to pry open the gate, and proceed along the path to the lift. Take the lift down to the floor of the cavern. Round the corner and find the culprit of the monorail crash: Hobbes. Defeat them and continue through the cavern.
Continue fighting the Hobbes as they attack you, and follow the path through the monorail tunnel. When you reach the point where there are Hobbes across the cavern (a prompt will pop up allowing you to view them with RT), shoot the explosive barrels behind them for a quick victory, then keep going along the trail.
Eventually you will reach a group of Hobbes that have constructed a magical barrier that you cannot get through. Simply take the path to the right, and swim up behind them. Dispose of them and follow Walter through the cavern until you reach a large gladiatorial ring. You'll have to fight an overwhelming amount of Hobbes here. Defeat them, and the barrier around the magical Hobbes in the center of the ring will fall. Now finish them off, and proceed through the portal to Road to Rule.Return to the cave, and after Walter uses his 'magic' on the Hobbe, proceed to Mourningwood.
Mourningwood
Head through the forest until you arrive at the guarded fortress. Let Walter talk to the guard, and enter the gate. After the cut-scene, follow Finn up to the mortar. Mount the mortar, and take out the two scarecrows for target practice. Defeat the waves of Hollowmen that spawn using the mortar, and prepare for an ambush from the rear gate.
Fight the hordes of Hollowmen that spawn all over the fortress, until the Lieutenant is re-animated. Fight him, destroying his waves of Hollowmen that he spawns while doing so, and then attacking him directly. Finally, he will fall, and you have saved the old guard. Make the promise to Major Swift, and enter the portal to the Road to Rule. Upgrade any skills you want, and port back to the fort.
Now Walter tells you to meet him near the sewers in Bowerstone Industrial. Head through Mourningwood forest and meet up with him.
Bowerstone Industrial
Welcome to the industrial city of Bowerstone. Follow Walter through the streets, until you reach a laborer on a raised platform causing a commotion. Watch the cinematic, and find your way to the Bowerstone Resistance's headquarters by following the glitter trail. Enter the door to the sewers near the water. After the cut-scene, follow Walter and the resistance leader to another room. She'll need proof that you're good enough to lead the resistance, so head on out and complete more side missions to gain enough guild seals.
Once you have enough guild seals, return to the Resistance hideout and talk with Walter, Page, and Ben. Put on the costume you are given in the Sanctuary, and head to Reaver's Manor. Head towards the Millfields, following the glitter trail, and defeat the mercenaries that you encounter along the way. Enter the manor grounds through the gate, and meet up with Page. Enter the Manor.
Follow the butler up the stairs, and enter the door he leads you to. Here you will find Reaver and his guests, and one of the rebels in a cage. After Reaver spins the wheel of misfortune, enter the masquerade arena and fight for your survival.
The first room consists of Hobbes of all types. The second room is filled with Hollowmen. The third room has a massive amount of mercenaries, some of which cast fire at you. The fourth room is home to Sand Fury's. The fifth and final room spawns a vicious group of Balverines.
After the cinematic, promise Page that you will end poverty in Bowerstone, and you will gain her support for the revolution.
Meet Ben Finn at the castle, and watch the cinematic. Return to the Resistance headquarters to tell the others what you witnessed. Listen to the plan, and follow Ben through the sewers to Bowerstone Industrial. Fight your way past the royal guards and into the warehouse. Continue upstairs, killing the guards as you go. Hop down from the ledge, and follow Ben to the docks. Fight the large group of soldiers guarding the boats, and lead Walter and Ben onto the ship.
Unknown Shore
Follow Walter into the cave on Aurora, and continue until you reach the giant, pink barrier in the floor. Search the bodies and wait for Walter to read a passage from the strange book he discovered. Descend into the pit.
Follow Walter into the darkness, and once you reach the unextended bridge, hop down the ledge to the side, and run around to the the lever on the other side to allow Walter to cross. Go up the stairs and wait for Walter to bring the next barrier down. Walk down the hallway and fight the darkness creatures. Keep following Walter through the darkness, ensuring to stay close or he will stop walking. Fight the onslaughts of creatures, through several short cut-scenes, until you reach a ledge, jump down, and watch as Walter is taken by the darkness.
Continue through the cave, searching for Walter and destroying the waves of creatures that attack you. Jump down the ledge into the room statues and pillars. A cut-scene will show Walter being engulfed in the dark substance. Run to the center of the room, and fight off the massive numbers of dark creatures. They will begin to take the bodies of the statues. Continue killing them, and the Dark Sentinel will spawn. Kill him, and avoid the dark substance he sprays on the floor while doing so. Take Walter's hand and lead him out of the darkness.
Lead Walter up to the top of the stairs, and decide whether to take him with you across the desert. Go down the steps on the other side, and vault into the sand. Follow the glitter trail through the desert, and you will encounter an apparition of Walter being attacked by the darkness creatures. Fend them off and keep going through the desert. You will encounter another apparition of Walter, which you must fight. Keep going until you find a third apparition, which you must follow. The darkness will then blind you, and a cut-scene blacks out the screen, to which you awaken Ben and Kalin, a local of Aurora.
When you awaken again, go talk with Ben and Kalin, and follow them outside. Explore Aurora, following the glitter trail, and reading the documents that your dog leads you to. Once you have finished exploring, meet back with Kalin, and promise to rebuild Aurora once you are the ruler of Albion. Take the portal to the Road to Rule, and upgrade any skills you wish. Once Walter is nursed back to health, board the ship back to Albion, and let the revolution begin!
Bowerstone Revolution
The time for the revolution to begin has come! Charge your way up the hill to the mortar, fighting the guards as you do. Destroy the mortar and wait for the ships to blow the gate open. Fight through the town. Follow the trail until you reach a gate that cannot be opened. Go to the right, and you will see a collapsed roof creating a bridge. Go across and through the burning rubble. Fight the group of guards just up the hill, and continue down the street. When you reach the end, go into the house on the right. Meet up with Page and her soldiers, and fight the elite guards near the top of the hill. Walk towards the large gate and wait for Sabine to blow it up. It is time to take the castle.
Sit back and watch as the Hero and Walter arrest Logan. The cinematic continues as you are crowned the ruler of Albion.
Weight of the World
Walter will introduce you to a new butler, Hobson, for your services in the Castle, since Jasper is maintaining the Sanctuary. He gives you a list of tasks that you must complete for the day. The first of these tasks is overhearing the trial of Logan. You get to decide whether he lives or is executed.
Next, follow Hobson to the royal treasury, and learn how to make deposits or withdrawals, and set the taxes for the kingdom. After this, head to Bowerstone Industrial and talk to Reaver. Decide now if you want his factory to reopen and continue using child labour, or keep your promise to Page and close it down, turning it into a school. Finally, return to the throne room, and decide whether to rebuild the Bowerstone Old-quarter. After another cinematic, you will have to decide upon several more things, including the castle decor, and the city of Aurora.
You must now prepare Albion for the invasion of the Darkness by whatever means necessary. Complete your daily royalty tasks and side missions to earn money for the treasury to build an army. You can also work the various jobs available around Albion and donate your money to the treasury. Complete these tasks as the days tick down towards the impending Darkness attack.
Darkness Attacks
The day has finally come, and the Darkness has arrived in Albion. It is up to you to save your kingdom from total destruction. After meeting with your allies in the castle, head into Bowerstone to defend the people of Albion. Fight your way through the hordes of dark creatures with Walter and Ben. Follow the glitter trail through the wreckage of Bowerstone. Finally, you will reach the main Dark Crawler. It will possess Walter, and you must fight him to the death.
You are now free to rule the kingdom of Albion how you wish. The darkness has been vanquished, and many new opportunities have become available.
