II. Bower Lake
- You'll start off standing on the bridge - Theresa arrives, and tells you that today is the day you start on your path to vengeance against Lucien. She also tells you that she's left you some items in the chest near your caravan - use LT to zoom view to the chest and get your bearings in the camp.
- Head to the chest, and collect the items Rusty Longsword, Light Splintered Crossbow, Placebo Health Potion, Dog Elixir, Collar of Holding, and Spade. You can use the collar on your dog to change his name.
- TIP: Go ahead and set your caravan to "rent out" using the Property tag in front of it to start an early income.
- When you're ready, talk to Theresa and she'll open the Gypsy Camp gate, giving you a Bower Lake Tomb Seal. This seal lets you open the Bower Lake Tomb, as well as receive messages from Theresa when she's not physically there.
- Follow the glowing trail, and your dog will find a dig spot. Use the spade there to uncover the Rubber Ball, which unlocks a new expression you can use for your dog. Swim across the lake to the tomb entrance, and grab the Silver Key to the right of it. Unlock the tomb, and enter.

- Your dog is a little scared to be here - pet him, then dive down the hole that appears and follow the glowing trail. You'll run afoul of some large Beetles - kill them, collect your EXP, and walk slowly so your dog can find you another Silver Key.
- Check down the left-hand path to find a chest, then return to the glowing trail to enter a room with a Flit Switch.
- Flit Switches require you to attack them with the weapon represented by the icon they display - in this case, you need to shoot it with your gun. It'll open the gate, so continue forward and stay left to find another chest.
- On your right in the watery cavern, on top of the rocks, is a skeleton - check it to find a page of Brendan's Diary. On the left of the cavern is another skeleton holding Erik's Letter. When you collect them both, follow the glowing trail. You'll spot another skeleton on the ground in front of you, which has Drake's Suicide Note. The note mentions a gem he threw in the water behind you, so backtrack to the water and look for a dive spot to find the Bewitching Augment. Continue following the trail, vaulting and diving as necessary, until you reach a stone circle.
- Another Flit Switch appears - use the appropriate attacks until the door opens. Follow the left path, smashing boxes and crates, and you'll find two chests - one is behind the boxes and crates, another is behind the bookshelf on its side. Search both bookshelves to find Hero of Oakvale and The End is Almost Nigh, then return to the glowing trail.
- You wind up in the Chamber of Fates - step into the circle in the middle of the room to obtain the power of Will. Using the Pause Menu, select "Abilities", then "Will" and purchase a spell. Use the spell on the cullis gate to turn it into a portal leading back to Bower Lake.
- NOTE: There's also a chest in the Chamber of Fates, but you can't open it unless you preordered Fable 2.
II. Bower Lake
- Defeat the Beetles that surround you, and follow the glowing trail back to a mound - check on your left behind a pillar to find a chest along the way. Not quite off the ledge and in the water is another chest once you're at the mound.
- Head back to Bowerstone, and you'll discover the road is closed due to Thag the Impatient.
The Bandit
- When you arrive at the bandit camp (follow the glowing trail to find it), you'll fight some low-level bandits. Eventually, Thag will burst through the door of his hut.
- Thag isn't that difficult - hit him with a spell, slice him, and then evade and shoot him to put him down quickly. You'll earn 100 Renown Points and the trophy Thag's Head.
