The hidden gargoyle chests are found in Gargoyle's Trove, a secret area in beneath the bridge in Bowerstone Market. Gargoyles are scattered throughout Fable 2 and can be detected by the loud and insulting noises they emit. You can destroy them by shooting them with a ranged weapon. As you destroy more and more gargoyles, a transparent walkway develops across the abyss in Gargoyle's Trove. Every ten gargoyles adds another section to the walkway and opens a passageway to a treasure chest. Once you've shot the final gargoyle, you can cross the walkway to a chest at the back of the Trove. However, that chest only contains a rotten apple. In order to claim your legendary treasure, you have to break the wall down behind the chest, and travel further into the Trove. Fable 2: Gargoyles Trove Legendary Treasure
This video shows you someone receiving the legendary treasure for destroying 50 gargoyles. It shows a lit path that you need to walk or run down. After proceeding down the path, you're presented with a small staircase that you need to travel up. Once you're at the top of the stair case and on the platform, you need to open the chest. While this takes a minute, it's well worth the effort as you receive your reward at this point. The reward in this case is The Rammer, a crossbow that has the ability to drain energy from enemies you encounter. While this video doesn't have sound, it does show you what finding the last treasure chest is like in only one minute and twenty one seconds.
