Jaime Alguersuari will definitely remember the final Grand Prix of the 2009 season. The F1 driver of the Toro Rosso team headed for a pitstop at round 20, but mixed up the boxes. He stopped at the Red Bull team, who quickly sent him away again.
- Alguersuari had to return to the track, almost without fuel, but was able to pit again a round later. He was forced to leave the race two rounds later with a technical defect.
- Remarkably, both the Toro Rosso and Red Bull team are sponsored by the same company.

Abu Dhabi was the last race in the Formula One 2009 season, and was won by Sebastien Vettel, which was his fourth victory this season.
