A Colorado man wants to start an Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission to help prepare people for upcoming visits from aliens. In fact, he's so convinced, that he's trying to get it put a proposition for it put on the Denver city ballot.
Jeff Peckman claims that the federal government has training in place on how to deal with alien encounters, but training at the local level is lacking. He claims to have a video clip of a four foot tall alien that will be shown to the news media on Friday, May 30, 2008.
If Peckman can collect 4,000 signatures, his proposal will be on the ballot.
