Everyday Shooter, also known as Riff: Everyday Shooter is a shooter game for the PS3 available for download via the PlayStation Network Store. The game was developed by Queasy Games and published by SCE Santa Monica, who are credited with games like WarHawk and the God of War series.
Gameplay
Everyday Shooter is a top-down shooter with eight total stages, each stage getting more difficult as you progress. The gameplay is fairly simple: you move your shooter character on the screen with the analog stick, dodging fire, and attempting to shoot and destroy enemies. Normal explosion sounds are replaced with guitar riffs, which harmonize with the overarching guitar soundtrack. You acquire points by collecting tiny pixels that spew out from different enemies. For instance, On the first stage you have to shoot at a target until it turns black and doubles in size. When an enemy touches this it will explode and turn into a collection of collectible pixels.
