Everybody Loves Raymond was a popular comedic sitcom that was based around the stand-up comedy of Ray Romano and his experiences with his family. Romano plays Ray Barone, a sportswriter from Long Island who lives with his family in a house next to one owned by his parents - who frequently come over to bug him. Over the course of nine seasons on the air, the show became one of the most watched shows of all time and earned a number of major awards, including the Emmy for Best Comedy Series two times.
