Everlast Musician

Everlast is the former frontman for the Hip-Hop group House of Pain and current solo artist. His notable songs as a solo artist include What It's Like, Put Your Lights On with Santana and White Trash Beautiful

Career

After a failed early attempt at a solo career, Everlast started the group House of Pain in the early 90s with friends. Their first album was a huge success behind the popularity of the smash single Jump Around. After the group disbanded in 1996, Everlast resumed his solo career with the album Whitey Ford Sings the Blues which was well received by critics and went 3 times platinum. His follow up album, Eat at Whitey's had sleeper commercial success and received good reviews. In 2004, White Trash Beautiful was released and it marked his only album under Def Jam Records. In 2006 he formed La Coka Nostra with former House of Pain members and began working on their debut album as well as his fifth solo album.
