Defensive end Everette Brown played college football with the Florida State Seminoles in the NCAA.

Brown was selected 43rd overall in the second round of the 2009 NFL draft by the Carolina Panthers on April 25, 2009.

After redshirting in 2005, Brown made his college football debut with the Florida State Seminoles in 2006. Recording 27 tackles and three sacks, Brown was selected as a Freshman All-American and All-ACC by The Sporting News. He continued as a starter playing in nine games in 2007 and 13 games in 2008, he played at both right and left defensive end and totaling a career-high 37 tackles, 13 sacks and three forced fumbles in 2008. Brown's efforts were recognized with All-ACC honors as well as being on the watch list for the 2008 Bronko Nagurski Trophy, given to the top collegiate defensive player.Florida State Seminoles: Everette Brown
