    After redshirting in 2005, Brown made his college football debut with the Florida State Seminoles in 2006. Recording 27 tackles and three sacks, Brown was selected as a Freshman All-American and All-ACC by The Sporting News. He continued as a starter playing in nine games in 2007 and 13 games in 2008, he played at both right and left defensive end and totaling a career-high 37 tackles, 13 sacks and three forced fumbles in 2008. Brown's efforts were recognized with All-ACC honors as well as being on the watch list for the 2008 Bronko Nagurski Trophy, given to the top collegiate defensive player.Florida State Seminoles: Everette Brown
