  • Eva Longoria is an American film and television actress. Longoria's big break as an actress came 2001 when she was cast as Isabella Brana Williams on the CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless. She can currently be seen in the role of Gabrielle Solis on the ABC television show Desperate Housewives.

    Longoria-Parker auctioned off a catered in-home dinner for 12 from her restaurant Beso in March 2009 to raise money for the New York Rescue Workers Detox Project. Longoria-Parker will make an appearance at the dinner and even make tableside guacamole.     Longoria was born on March 15, 1975 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She is of Mexican decent. Longoria has three older sisters named Elizabeth Judina, Emily Jeannette, and Esmeralda Josephina. While growing up, her family lived and worked on a farm and struggled to make ends meet. Longoria attended Texas A&M University-Kingsville and received a Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology. Longoria married actor Tyler Christopher on January 20, 2002 but the couple divorced just two years later. On July 6, 2007, Longoria married San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker and they are still currently married.

    Longoria's television debut was with an episode of Beverly Hills 90210 in 2000. From there she played the role of Isabella Brana Williams from the years 2001 to 2003 on the soap opera The Young and the Restless. In 2004, Longoria landed a role in the ABC television series Desperate Housewives where she still plays the character Gabrielle Solis. Her first major movie roll came with the film The Sentinel in 2005. Her most recently released film is titled Over Her Dead Body. It was released in the U.S. on February 1, 2008.
