Eureka is SciFi's most popular show. The science fiction dramedy focuses on events in the town of Eureka, home to many oddball scientists, as seen through the eyes of its aggressively normal sheriff, Jack Carter (Colin Ferguson).

U.S. Marshall Jack Carter is transporting his fugitive daughter Zoe (Jordan Hinson) home from her latest escapades when he gets into a car accident outside a small, very normal-looking rural town in the Pacific Northwest. Eureka, it turns out, is not normal. After World War II, the United States government created an idyllic town to host the brightest geniuses in the nation, all of whom would work on top-secret projects to improve national security. The town does not appear on any maps. When Eureka's sheriff is critically injured by a scientific experiment gone awry, Carter pitches in, and becomes Eureka's new sheriff.

Eureka, like many other science fiction and fantasy shows, is filmed in Vancouver. It features guest stints from many actors known for their roles in other genre shows, often ones currently filming in Vancouver, and its actors often appear in other genre shows. These actors include:
